Project Description

This project involved the construction of RCC retaining walls and associated civil works for the widening and strengthening of a 2-lane national highway with paved shoulders on the Rafiabad–Kupwara–Chowkibal–Tangdhar–Chamkot (NH-701) road section in Jammu & Kashmir. The work was executed under an EPC mode project for the Border Roads Organisation (BRO).


Scope of Work

These structures were critical for slope stabilization, roadway safety, and long-term durability in hilly terrain. Our scope included:

  • Excavation, PCC, and RCC works.
  • Construction of reinforced concrete retaining walls.
  • Backfilling with proper drainage arrangements.
  • Finishing and allied civil works.

Project Outcome

All works were carried out strictly as per approved drawings and technical specifications and were completed within the stipulated time to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. The project highlights our capability in executing structural concrete works and highway protection measures in challenging site conditions.
